Subject: English text changing to asian?

I've got a weird problem. All of a sudden anything that I type is showing up as some kind of asian text. Even when I change the font it never changes. Can someone help please?

 did this happen after doing a keystroke shortcut (like ALT+SHIFT+DRAG)? or did it just crop up?

try tossing your PREF file and see if it clears up...

to delete and re-create the preferences file, start Photoshop and, as it starts, hold down Control+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS), and then click Yes to the prompt "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

let me know
:)

 Hmm I wonder if I accidentally pressed a key?  I'll try deleting my pref file when I get back to work tomorrow and I'll let you know.

Thanks :-)
