I started studying, with great pleasure, POSER FIGURE ARTIST.
Please tell me the following:

my wish is to install there some of the beautiful characters by Mari_17, for example "Vivian" at http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php?username=mari_e17 ;
in which folder of Poser Figure Artist should I download it?

Also, this characters do work alone, or should I install first Victoria 3 (by DAZ Studio, I already have it)? Again, in which folder should Victoria go?

Vivian needs V3 and the head and body morphs for V3 . Avalable from Daz Studio

.If you dont hace V3 or M3 (Victoria or Mike) the base figures  can be downloaded free, from http://www.download.com/Poser-DAZStudio-3D-Models-Pack/3000-6677_4-10579249.html?tag=lst-8&cdlPid=10581779

If the character includes textures you can use them even without the morphs , it just wont look different .

You  need the head and body morphs . They are cheaper if you buy the V3/m3 bundle http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=3010&_m=d or just V3 http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails/-/?item=3008&_m=d

The zip files should have a path for the files that starts from runtime . You unzip to the folder that includes the folder runtime , which should be the Poser progrtam library

example C:Program Filese frontierPoser 7Runtime  , you unzip to the Poser 7 folder and specify "use folder names "  when you extract .

I´m not sure if you can install a figure to Poser Figure Artist how you could do with Poser itself.
As I know Figure Artist is a special programm for human figures for paintings and so on. I think I heard once that this software doesn´t take extern figures, but I´m not sure.

If Poser Figuer Artist is similar to Poser 4.0.3, you need to install the third-party figure and character into the main runtime.   No external runtimes can be used. 

I know that Figure Artist isn´t simlar to Poser 4.o.3 at all. As I know it based on Poser6 technology, but without the features of Poser6.
