Subject: texturing obj files with pictures....

How do I do this?  Sometimes it seems to work, and other times it doesn't.  I'm so fed up with this right now I can hardly think straight to properly describe this problem.  I'm sure someones' had this problem before and found the answer so please help!

Also, it has to be for obj files because the program I'm modeling with (Silo) keeps malfunctioning when I try to export as 3ds (which, of course, work fine with pictures)...

thanks!

Not all objects have UV mapping coordinates. You can use on this type of objects Standard, Spherical or Cylindrical mapping method (try what best fit). If you have problems with applying textures use the Basic Material editor! Later you can always switch back to Advanced Material Editor.

I have found that it really helps sometimes to put your obj through UVMapper and give it a new UV before bringing it into Vue even though Silo may have given it one...
