Subject: Help needed with Sergemarck's Consulat dress

Help! I d/l the consulate dress and am unable to get it to work for me. I did manage it once but not again. I get the file has a newer version number, etc and when I click on it I get cannot open Runtime/Geometries/marck/consulat.obj etc. It's there - I've checked a half dozen times and even made sure I spelled marck just right :-) Another lady had the same problem and she thought it was because she hadn't got the Poser 4.0.3 upgrade but I have (I even reinstalled it!) and it still doesn't work. She managed to get it to work finally and kindly offered me some help but I am unable to do it. I emailed Sergemarck and he said to write to the list to see if anyone else had the problem as he is completely stumped. Does anyone have any advice as to what could be causing it or what I can do? Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'd love to have that dress :-) Thanks! Claire

check within the Runtime/Geometries/marck/ directory... see if there's a consulat.rsr.. if so delete that and everything should work .. sometimes Poser gets confused and messes up the rsr... and when that happens.. the obj won't load.. shrug everything else being correct that should fix the problem? if not.. let us know.. we'll beat on it some more 8 )

I sometimes get the error messages, but then it loads anyway.

the "newer version" is just a warning--means the thing was saved from propack and you don't have propack.

Wizzard, it worked! :-) I did the same thing for a couple of other items that gave me trouble and they now work. Thank you!! I'm now thinking about the items that I've removed in the past because of the same problem and wondering where I got them from so I can go back and retrieve them. Claire
