Subject: Need a tutorial on underwater scenes

Hi folks.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I might be able to find a decent tutorial for doing an underwater scene in C6 Pro including caustics.  I am doing a scene for a new submarine model I will be putting out soon, and unfortunately, I have never done anything underwater before.  Any help appreciated.

Someone did a great shark scene for the Carrara 6 version launch but I could know how it did the caustic and the volumetric light. In the Carrara Pro Hand Book from Mike de La Flor theres a scene like that with all settings but no volumetric light.

Thanks but I need to find a free tutorial.  Our budget is pretty non-existent.  I have an idea for doing it with caustics, a distant lite and a curved background projection if I have to; but I am not sure how it will come out.  Carrara can be a bit unpredictable on stuff like this.

This is for an older version of Carrara so I am sure there are perhaps better ways.  http://www.designertoday.com/Tutorials/Misc/1409/Undersea.Effects.with.Light.Cones.and.Gels.in.Carrara.Carrara.Tutorial.aspx

I found some other water tutorials, one listed as an underwater lighting one http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=78108
