Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
It depends....I know most of the clothing offered at Daz should have the majority of V4 morphs....but it is also dependant upon the creator. Some people give you all the morphs, some give you a few, and some don't put any in. You'll have to "research" your purchases to see what's included and what isn't to find the best options.
I do know that V4 does come with some preset Poser magnet poses to help adjust clothing to fit her various shapes....not sure if they have the same system in place for the D|S deformers or not (I don't have D|S). So these would help if there is an outfit you really want that doesn't have all her morphs. Magnets aren't too bad when you get the hang of them....course, I'm still working on that part.

The magnets that come with V4 are not for adjusting shapes, they adjust joints? Like if you put a glove on Vickie and bend her arm, her elbow comes through? They usually fix that.
There is a clothing magnet set for body morphs at DAZ that WILL help with adding morphs, but you'd have to work a little bit, and if you don't want to bother, that will kind of limit your options :-)
Jasmina here at Rendo, and also Hongyu, add just about every morph to their clothing, you may want to look at their products.

Buy a copy of Wardrobe Wizard & you will never have to worry about whether a merchant adds body fit morphs ever again.
Want to add the Gioia morphs to the V4 morphing fantasy dress, no problem, wanna put the DAZ troll in the BATLABs formal pack for M3, just a few clicks & there you are. Need clothes for the G2 females, just convert. No muss, no fuss.
The process is simple.....
Fire up the WW2 python script, use the utility button to go to morphs, set dials to single morph, analyze the resulting full body morph, save character, convert clothing, select morphs to add to clothing, convert, go to your Converted runtime & voila, clothing with morphs installed.
The process is faster than it took me to type this. It's just clicking a few buttons. The analysis can take a while, so do your basic conversion overnight in batches. Then it is just a couple of minutes to add whichever morphs you want.
Ah...shows you how much I pay attention (and/or use Vicky herself)....sorry about the magnet confusion there... :blushing:

I don't know what it's called, but I have noticed that some clothing for V4 conforms perfectly to a character's body shape if you inject that character's morphs into the clothing. It doesn't do it with all, but sometimes it works. And the nice part is that when it does work, skirts and dresses even move with the leg poses.

Hi
I have been searching around and it isn't really easy to get ahold of morphing clothing for V4.
I sorta wanted to get ready made stuff. Does anyone know of any artists that are heavily into making clothes for V4 that have most of the FBMs built in?
I know there are technologies avail. to change clothes into morphing clothes, and also there is the option of getting the fantasy morphing dress and somehow altering it or whatever, but I do not see myself as a person who wants to go very far in the direction of creating clothing.
Thanks
