I'm a mac user and I can't use Mason's wonder woman suit because I can't make the obj. However, everything else works just fine. If someone could email me the obj file I could convert it and all would be hunkydory. Thanks for the assist, BazookaJoe

Did you download the pcf correction? http://www.poserforum.com/download.ez?uploadid=1152 Mike

I can't do anything with a pcf on a mac. Without objaction mover you can't combine things to make an obj. Once I have an obj I can use the converter tool and make it work on a mac. There are a number of things out there that mac users can't play with for this reason: Jacketman etc. If some nice PC user were to make obj files available on the funstuff pages mac users would be able to use everything that PC users have access to. This is one thing I've never understood about the funstuff page uploads. Why make people convert things rather than just post the converted files?

heya; well, the pcfs are used because posting the objs violates applicable copyright laws. :)

You should get Maconverter 1.1 from the utilities page, it will decode any .pcf on the Mac into .obj for you. The .pcf format was created to avoid copyright violations, so please DON'T send any decoded .obj direct to anyone else, because the creator probably used .pcf for good reason.

I am a Mac user also, and Jacketman and the others work fine once you convert them. Check out the utilities page and get Maconverter, and you'll be fine. Sure, it takes a couple extra seconds to convert them, but it's really no big deal.

I just downloaded the new mac converter and WOW! I didn't think it would be that different from the other one. Boy was I wrong. I a whole new world of possibilites is open now. Thanks everyone!

Hi Folks! I'm a Mac user too, and Maconverter 1.1 works just fine for most of the PC stuff I've downloaded. I have noticed one quirk, however--it changes the .obj files from text to DOS format, complete with a PC icon! Any other Mac folks experience this? I'm using OS 8.6. Peter (Dr. Zik)

Not a bug, rather a feature... It actually sets the type to TEXT as it should be (otherwise some importing programs incl. Poser won't recognize them sometimes). The PC icon is just Apple's default this-comes-straight-from-PC-wasteland notification :-) I thought it is nicer to see some sort of real icon other than the plain white one, and it doesn't affect the file in any unwanted way.
