Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
depends on Bryce 6 (we have a Bryce forum too, so it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm still using 5.5...;)
Some things just don't transfer well. Dynamic anything, hair, clothes, etc. Bryce should prompt you for fhe folders that hold the textures. There's another solution, though .
**Warning - the following contains the rankest heresy, and is not suitable for children, miners, minors, and should not be practiced in the street; it might frighten the horses...;)
If you use Daz Studio, you might be able to pull a lot more of that in. Daz Studio is free, and while it doesn't do everything as well as Poser (quick save...;), it is a part of Bryce, so if you hit the Daz button in Bryce, you can import back and forth. You may occasionally wind up with microwave-hotdog-sized people, but that's what scaling is for...;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

These 3 images were done that way and all of them are pure Bryce 6 renders with no postwork except to add my signature and downsize for the web (posting each one in a new reply):
Yes, Daz Studio is the way to go on importing content into Bryce!!!

What I usually did was use DAZ into Bryce, but there were a couple of dynamic outfits I really wanted to use on a character, so...
I did it the hard way. I set it up in Poser, exported just the last frame as an Object to a folder, then I copied all the textures into the folder. Then imported that into Bryce. It worked o.k.
Quote - I would recommend buying Vue when it is on sale. I have Bryce, but I never got into it like I did Vue which I'm learning. Vue imports most all Poser content with all the textures easily. You can also save all your Poser stuff as Vue .vob and get double your money.
Definitely, yes. I have Infinite now and I'm so happy with it. It does all that and I am in love with Ecosystems.
