That ferry reminded me of this large boat. Taken from the European side of Istanbul. If I recall correctly the body of water is called the Sea of Marmara

Reminded me of this shot (already posted in my gallery) and the boat in the background... an odd contrast I thought while I was there was that between the large ocean-faring cruise ships and the very much 'manual' gondolas of the city.

The shape of the umbrellas reminded me of the shape of petunias, so I found some and did a bit of postwork to them to get closer. That was fun, James - thanks! :)

Reminded me of this 'forest' of similar aromatic (...) flowers in the Gaasbeek castle park... The whole place smelled like onion or garlic...
