Seems the forum in photography and the gallery.... is very very slow...like not many people.... I'm thinking its because of the summer months... not many people want to sit on a computer they want to be out and about....But being its photography you would think there would be lots of shots from being out and about....

Now I can see the 3D slowing down a bit because you are stuck in front of a computer to build things.. And thats great for a winter hobby....

Just seems I remember when I use to do 3D this place was booming.... I hope its not slowing down for good.... its always been a great place to post images....
Thanks
Robert

I think its just the standard summer slow down. Even for me I am out taking alot of photos but I find I have less time to sit in from of the PC to edit them and get them posted so things are backing up here on my end.

I know that feeling :)

Just In the last week alone we've been out to ....
Farnbrough Airshow, Amberley Chalkpits, Meet Your Navy, Goodwood Races, Tangmere, plus some local historical stuff.

At the bigger shows - 2 or 3 of us are averaging around 3-4000 shots.
Just pruning was taking so long, we decided mid-week to ditch the video side and stick with stills.

One thing we've also done is ditch the heavy gear like stepladders, sample books and tripods,
and we're travelling light using lightweight Hama bags carrying...

MOBO drive
2 or 3 lenses
spare batterys and cards
spare pair of socks and bin liner - doubles as padding, anti-rain and comfort :)

...it makes travel -espically on trains - so much more pleasant.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

As for me this is my busiest time of the year at work. Working 10 to 12 hours a day plus the work at home doesn't leave much down time. My daughter and her family are buying a house so they have moved in with me until the it is ready, A little crazy 7 days a week here, about another month and their house will be ready and it should slow down at work. Then I will have more time for photography. Until then I take shots when I can.
