For those of you who haven't met me yet, I am a 3D model working for Vanishing Point.

I like to think of myself as a serious actor, more inclined to action roles than the soft romantic comedy roles. This thread is for anyone who has any questions about me, or would like to post renders, give their opinions about me, or give me any feedback about any problems they may be having with me.

So, let me first tell you a bit about myself. I am a low polygon figure, and as you can see from the picture, I spend a lot of time in the gym to keep my polygon count down. Because of the low polygons, I am not always the best choice for the extreme close up shots, but when it comes to animation, multiple figures in a scene, or middle distance work, I am definitely the man for the job.

I spent over a year in training and development to ensure that I would have the maximum compatibility with BVH, motion and pose files, and I work well with poses made for Poser 4 and 7 figures, most BVH files, and I personally think that I am very good at posing.

There are some free items available for me so far, and loads of uniforms, clothes, poses, motion files, morphs, hair styles and props in production for use with me. The wonderful PhilC is working on Wardrobe Wizard compatibility for me, and I know of quite a few people working on some fine outfits and textures for me.

I am a standard Poser figure, which means that there is nothing about me that prevents normal use, so if you know how to use Mike, Simon, or any of my fellow workers, you will know how to use me. I have a few enhancements though. I have some advanced controls on my hands, neck and collars, which make it slightly easier to pose me, and I also have these really cool built-in muscle deformation morphs, which means that my muscles actually respond realistically, so if I bend my abdomen, my stomach muscles will tense, and the same for my arm and leg muscles.

You can have a look at my posing in the video.

So, onto the questions I have had so far.

Yes, I am anatomically correct, or in the words of some forum members, I have a winkie, pee wee, tinkle, or some other odd names I wouldn't care to mention here.

Yes, there is a girl who is going to start working at Vanishing Point as well, called Valerie Petrov, but no, she is not my girlfriend, I personally can't stand her, totally opinionated and she has a real bad attitude. In fact, if she got into a scrap with Vicky, Stephanie, Miki, or any of the other Poser girls, my money would be on her, she is mean!!!!

Yes, there are some face morphs sets and new face textures being created, so I will be able to play a few other roles as well. I know of an old man face, African and scarred texture and face sets so far, and there will also be an Orc character coming soon.

This picture is from an upcoming freebie with hair fit files for some of the free hairstyles out there.

So, if you have any questions, comments, opinions, complaints, or if you want to offer me a movie contract, this is the thread to do it in.

Oh, and this pic is from a forthcoming stand alone figure based on me, that shares poses, face textures and morphs, etc, but doesn't need my base files to work.

The above video is a test to show how well I work with a BVH file, straight off an internet site and created by motion capture, totally unedited and raw. I think it looks quite cool.

A full chainmail suit, tunic, helmet and boots to create a medieval peasant swordsman character, with sword and shield. Also includes a CR2 figure with the swordsman suit loaded, and the ears hidden, ready to use. The shield and sword have already been parented on this figure.   While there are many examples of the clothes, armour and weapons for the noblemen of the middle ages, the equipment for the peasant classes is not that well preserved or documented. Peasants who made up the rank and file of the armies usually had helmets and shields made of wood, with metal trim, and their swords were of a low grade iron, often heavier and thicker than those of the richer soldiers who could afford a better quality weapon.   Noblemen had leather undercoats for their chain mail, metal helmets and shields, and could afford luxuries like olive oil to prevent rust on metal items. Peasants on the other hand made do with pig fat to prevent rust, and if they were lucky enough to own chainmail, this was usually of a very low quality, or it was handed down from landlords or noblemen who had upgraded their own.   The material peasants used for their clothing was thick and course, and their shoes or boots often were so poor that they did not last for an entire season of war. Soldiers by and large had to either arm themselves, or they were armed by their feudal lords or kings. It was considered more important in those days to have numbers on your side, rather than highly trained and well equipped troops.   The popular images of thousands of soldiers on crusades wearing white tunics with red crosses on the chest and shiny metal helmets is a popular myth. Only the richest of noblement would have been able to afford white tunics and metal helmets, and the majority of soldiers would have been dressed in earthy colours and leather or wooden armour, helmets and shields.   Requires the previous purchase and installation of Vincent Parker (VPM1). For use in Poser 5 and above.

Master texture resource files for creating new face and eye maps for Vincent Parker. Includes diffuse, specular, bump and displacement textures for the face, body, eyelashes and eyes. Should be used in conjunction with the template files.   1) These textures have had certain features removed, such as eyebrows, freckles, scars, blemishes, etc. They are meant as base files on which you can add new eyebrows, scars, freckles, etc. 2) Remember that if you add a scar or other major feature to the diffuse maps, you need to add the corresponding features to the specular, bump or displacement maps. 3) These texture maps have been smoothed, so overlaying other textures from photographs, etc, is advised to get the required level of detail. 4) Vincent is a low polygon figure, so the use of displacement and bump maps is advised for attaining the level of detail required for a good character. 5) If you are adding morphs (which you created) to the textures with the character, you may save and redistribute a CR2 figure with the morphs and textures loaded, but this character must be significantly different to the standard Vincent to justify the release of a new CR2. Please refer to the read me as this contains additional information, usage rights and permissions and tips.   You do not need to purchase the [ Vincent Parker (VPM1)](http://www.contentparadise.com/us/user/vincent_parker_vpm1_for_poser_product_42819) to use these files, but you may want to, so you can test your textures. For use in Poser 5 and above.

Esther,

We are working on loads of clothing, but as you know, clothing is not the easiest thing in the world, and I have a list as long as my arm to get through. Business suit has been started, but I can't give a release date yet.

In the meantime, this is the latest from the Vincent line.

Lol, Esther, that is definitely Panko's gun, and his helmet, pouches, caps, belts, pouches, etc. The set includes 17 poses, and set-up poses, and loadfs of MAT's. We counted today, the set contains 514 files, of which Panko made about 450!!!!

As far as I know, this is a totally new rifle from Panko.

No, There are standalone characters being made for Vincent that are fat, skinny, etc. The reason I decided not to do it with morphs is because it will just load down the character when it comes to animations, and also, making a standalone character allows me to add some fancy stuff, like belly wobble movements, that will not be possible with a morphed character. But before I get to that I have four uniforms to finish for him, so patience, lol.
