Subject: latest version of poser?

Is version 7 still the latest version of poser and will there be another version or is this it for Poser?

Poser 7 sold by SmithMicro is the current version of Poser.  There is a Poser 7 Pro which has more features and is for people with 3d applications, it is not required to have.

Poser 8 is in the works.  Nothing has been said about it, and won't be until it's released, just like all other versions of Poser releases.

There is a new version called "Poser 7 pro", released by the new owner Smith Micro.

Actually Smith Micro just calls it Poser Pro.  It is sort of Poser 7.5.
There is also a base version of Poser Pro that costs less, but doesn't
have the export modules.

Because I can't remember if I've already install the latest SP (it's been some years and some formats also...) I wonder which Version number P6 comes after SP3 is installed...
Mine is 6.0.3.139 is that the latest one?

ok I have the latest one:

Poser 6 Service Release 3 for Windows
Poser 6 Service Release 3 updates all Windows versions of Poser 6 to 6.0.3.139
