In case you haven't found it yet, here is the link. There are many great images this year. I think the level is much higher than last year.

Among the 426 entries, I recognized some names from Renderosity, like John Riley (jrdesigns), Frank Little (FCLittle), among others (including myself :-)).

Weren't they supposed to announce the finalists today?

There sure are some great pictures in the contest.  Rutra, love your picture! 

I though they were announcing the winners at Siggraph.

They have in their site a statement that finalists will be announced on August 3rd and the winners will be announced at Siggraph, August 12-14.
I suppose the judges are having a tough time deciding. It's already August 4th, at least in Renderosity time zone, and the finalists are not announced yet.

They even still have the announcement of the 2007 winners up on their front page. I thinks they are all asleep. Can someone make a call, please??

I'm back, and found out I didn't make it into the top 12 - oh well. It was fun coming up with an entry!

There were a few that I was surprised to not see as finalists - thought they were really cool!
