Hi all!

So I've returned to the world of 3d art after a 4 year hiatus, IE my personal life sucked and needed fixing...

So that's fixed and I'm back and with an issue...

Yesterday, I purchased poser 7 and it SOOO much different than 4. HELP!
I've read the book and still can't get the figures to move, can't delete figures...at wits end.

I know on this issue I'll have to call Tech Support but..my graphics tablet it's working with poser and it's a wacom...Any ideas?

THANKS
Crissy

By move do you mean just change the position of a figure in the scene?
Go to the pull down menus at the top and click Window/Parameter Dials
(or Shift+Ctrl+N) This brings up a pop-up parameters window.  Then click on
the numbers in the Xtran, Ytran, and Ztran rows and enter numbers to move
your figure left/right, up/down, forward/back.
To delete a figure just click on that figure and then hit the Delete key on your
keyboard.

That's  just it, it wont let me delete the figure at all..in anyway, shape or form

Use pulldown menu "figure" delete figure

Another thing to do for the deleting is to go into your preferrence and change the default undo to 10 or less.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

If you have an older computer it will take some time in poser 7 to delete something especially  a heavy model like V4 or V3 with all the morphs loaded. This is because Poser 7 has now a multiple undo function and has to record was has been undone. If you don't want your delete undone; press shift-delete, which is much faster and be sure you have at least service-release 2.1 installed, there are some complaints about sr3, so you better wait with that release untill the bugs are removed.

regards,

Bopper.

I'm finding that D3D's delete script in Free Stuff works alot faster for me than delete.

SHIFT: Delete (the keys) will also delete something quick, as it specifically bypasses the "writing to undo" process.

That is awesome!  Where did you meet them?

Here's the unofficial song courtesy of MentalRoy.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n3ebuL1cPA

My grandfather was the President of the Musicians Union and along with my parents ran Bluegrass festivals all across the US. I spent every Thursday - Monday every Summer at a festival somewhere. Bill Monroe ( hope you know who that is) gave me my very first 50 cent piece. I still have it.

When I was a lil girl I met alot of "famous" people from Dolly Parton to George Jones, The Osbourne Brothers let me pass out flier for their performance at Mocking Bird Hill. Earned a whole dollar ( I was only 7 so a dollar was ALOT of money)

Do they still run Bluegrass festivals?  Sorry had to google Bill.  God,  I miss Hee-Haw.
