Subject: Special atmosphere

There is this site (wich everyone knows probably) geek at play, I love those tutorials but I''ve got a question. the last tutorial (where they learn you how to make a sphere to a planet) there is this excellent atmosphere, now you're only gonna get this if you buy their pack but is there anyone who has an atmosphere like that or knows how to make it? cause I can't buy the pack and I find it stupid to buy a whole pack just for one atmosphere, please help!

I have a free 3D Earth model I made a couple of years ago. It includes the atmosphere.

I'm also looking for a way to make procedural planets with an atmosphere that looks kind of "professional" like you could expect it from a photoshopped planet.

Xpleet:

Maybe make a few different types of planet models and save as .VOB objects?
Then you can fine tune & customize them whenever you use one.

A bit off-topic:
vaaern, I'm not related to geekatplay in any way but I would say that if you like their free tutorials and you learn from them, then support them by buying at least one package. I did. They are a great help to the Vue community but if no one buys their products they will probably be out of business some day.

I would just add that you are getting a lot more than one atmosphere in a pack. I've used materials from the pack I bought I hadn't even thought about when I was shopping.

Yes, support your local geek.  Buy a pack or two!  They are all great and very reasonable priced.

Good idea!
Reward their positive behavior, so they'll want to make more tutes.
