Hi recieved this obscure message containing a download of a .txt file I transfered it to a zip and used the internal viewer to look at it and there was nothing there?

Is this some kind of trojan?
And why is store@renderosity.com sending such emails?

i think you had a empty email like everybody else.. but your mail server made it into a downloadble item becuase it was empty ..some servers do that
We ALL had a empty email..
Because Debbie is just Human ..yes she is..
She clicked a wrong button and instead of collecting data that she wanted
She sent us all a nice clean empty email to save and hold treasure...

So it was a mistake and be asure Ro staff have more then enough work not to waste time in sending us empty emails on purpose..

And IF you did read the forums you already seen many threads about it and knew that it was just a mistake of wich Debbie said sorry for many times...

So dont worry its harmless...

Thanks BAR CODE I did have a look at the forum to see if it had been mentioned but could not find anything (was a brief look) it's just that i read a few messages about RO being hacked and wondered if this might have been someone not connected to RO trying to run a macro on a txt file!

well RO had a small running into a file with a nasty but they took care of that real fast
So we were never in real danger ... and the email was a honnest mistake that was in no way related to anything else then clicking the wrong button...

And even i think it whould be funny to see Debbie in a corner with a donky hat on .. :woot:
It was al taken care of in a good and secure way..
