Does anybody know if the SR1 for Poser Pro fixes the problem with the DAZ figures?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Orio
I use DAZ figures (V4/A4/A3) in Poser Pro SR1. But which figures and which problem are you referring to?

When Poser Pro was introduced I asked about it and I have been answered that the Cinema4D plugin only works with Poser's native people, and does not work with DAZ figures.

So I was wondering if this SR1 fixes the problem with the Cinema4D plugin...

Ah, sorry, I don't use that plug-in and didn't know about the problem... so I'm no use to you at all!

Oh, come on, I can't believe that no Poser Pro user here has tried the "PoserFusion" with Cinema4D after the SR1 release...

Hi Orio!

Maybe you should post the same question in the Cinema4D forum as well, or maybe change the title on the thread too something that contains the sentence "Cinema4D/Poser Pro"

I dont have anyone of those apps unfortunately.

Regards / Jonny

thanks Johnny for the suggestions.
I can't see a way to change the title thread unfortunately

Poserfusion is NOT character specific. It allows the host app to open Poser scene files including geometry, textures etc. So Daz figures would load like any others.

I've installed PoserFusion into C4D, post SR1. I can see PoserFusion in the Plugins folder with Windows explorer, yet when I open C4D 10.5, it's not in the plugins menu! So I can't help, I'm afraid.

I installed the PoserFusion plugin into Cinema 4D.  Created a quick Vicki 4 character and loaded the file into Cinema 4D 10.5 without any problems.  I clicked on the Create Materials button and it correctly created the materials for the daz figure.

So the character loaded fine for me, but I didn't add any keyframes or animations.  In Poser Fusion the posing and animation has to be done in poser.

With poserfusion I have to agree with IDonn0 that poserfusion allows the host app (Cinema4d in this case) to load poser scene files, so I think you were given misinformation before.

There is another product called interposer that kuroyume (search the Cinema 4D forum) created that has some additional features like allowing you to pose the character within Cinema,
