Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)

I use DAZ figures (V4/A4/A3) in Poser Pro SR1. But which figures and which problem are you referring to?
When Poser Pro was introduced I asked about it and I have been answered that the Cinema4D plugin only works with Poser's native people, and does not work with DAZ figures.
So I was wondering if this SR1 fixes the problem with the Cinema4D plugin...
I installed the PoserFusion plugin into Cinema 4D. Created a quick Vicki 4 character and loaded the file into Cinema 4D 10.5 without any problems. I clicked on the Create Materials button and it correctly created the materials for the daz figure.
So the character loaded fine for me, but I didn't add any keyframes or animations. In Poser Fusion the posing and animation has to be done in poser.
With poserfusion I have to agree with IDonn0 that poserfusion allows the host app (Cinema4d in this case) to load poser scene files, so I think you were given misinformation before.
There is another product called interposer that kuroyume (search the Cinema 4D forum) created that has some additional features like allowing you to pose the character within Cinema,

Does anybody know if the SR1 for Poser Pro fixes the problem with the DAZ figures?
Thanks in advance.
