Subject: Please reset Order#: 111449729

Hello.  I've been having a little trouble with this one and was wondering if you could reset so I can attempt downloading again?  The last time I attempted it, a strange html link was downloaded.  When I tried again, I received the "too many download attempts" message.  Please help.
Thanks.

Hi Rob,

I've reset your downloads.  Please be sure to disable any download manager/accelerators if you use them.

Thank you for shopping at the MarketPlace!

I guess it's just not meant to be.  Thanks for the reset(s), but it appears I'm unable to download this particular item.  I know it's only $11, but is there a chance I could get a store credit toward another purchase?  I've downloaded a bunch of other stuff this morning without any difficulty, including stuff from Daz3d.  No issues.  Not sure what the disconnect it, but I hope I can get it resolved as this site is my favorite "go to" for what I'm looking for.
Thanks,

Rob K.

Hi Rob,

What sort of error message are you receiving when downloading?

Well, it's not so much an error as a behavior.  I can click on the link for the file once, and the download status bar appears.  But then it looks like a tug-of-war between taking 5 minutes to complete, to 5 days, then back to 5 minutes.  It's almost as if Renderosity didn't want to let it go.
It looked strange to me, too.

I'm not sure how many download attempts are normally given per order, but after the reset and one attempt, any subsequent attempts to download gave me the message:
You have exceeded the maximum number of downloads allowed for this product.

Is the maximum one (1)?

I'll try purchasing and downloading another file in a day or so and see if the same problem arises.  For now, though, I'm unable to download this order.

You get more than one attempt.  Are you running a download manager/accelerator?

Debbie,

Nope.  No acceleration or download manager.  I'm on a MacBook Pro with built-in wireless, so I disabled that as I also have an ethernet cable plugged in (it's supposed to choose one or the other, but just in case).

I'm willing to try it again.  Pretty soon, I'll just tinker with Photoshop and make my own PSD file of what I was trying to save time by buying.

I appreciate your patience.  I'm not a computer/Internet/download newbie, honestly.

Hi Rob,

I appreciate your patience while I try to figure out what could be happening.  I'm on a PC here at home, but I have a Mac at the office.

I'm going to try to download the file tomorrow morning from the office and see if I can figure this out.

Hi Rob,

I downloaded and extracted the contents on my Mac with no problem.  The zip is only a little over 2 megs, do you want me to email the zip to you?

Hey, that would be great!  I tried purchasing another item and had the same problem.
I'm a few thousand miles from home (Clarksville - not far from Nashville) in the middle of a combat zone.  This is my hobby when there's a little quiet time.  We have hi-speed Internet that we procured on our own, but the satellite redirects are probably interfering with normal downloads from this site.

If attaching in an email is workable, I'm all for it.
Thanks,

Rob K.

Hi Rob,

I am sending you an email with the first attachment.  If you let me know the other item, I'll see if that one is small enough to email as well.

Stay safe out there, and THANK YOU for all that you do.

Debbie M.
