When you import a background image, it will always face the camera, will always be the same distance from the camera, and it extends the whole width and height of the window. I have done this several times, only to be immediately reminded how stupid it looks. Your best bet is to put in a square or cube and resize it to hold the image, that way the sky is not the ground, plus you can add more images (like a sky AND a ground).
Dosh - Very witty response! "It goes to show you that you can POSE a question, but the Forum finds several ways to RENDER an answer." I like it! Clint - Ray Dreamers Forum

Despite taking the unusual step of reading the manual and tinkering with every background command I could think of, I haven't figured out how to import a separate image into a Poser session. I assume one thing I can do is take a platform and rotate it to form a backdrop and apply a scene as a texture, but isn't there and easier way? Dosh
