Subject: What is the name of that magazine?

What is the name of that 3D magazine that I see people posting about here to announce the next issue. It comes with a CD that sometimes contains poser files?  Is it available in Canada?

3D World.  International, published in UK and distributed internationally.

Available at most bookstores, Borders and Barnes & Noble in the states.

Thanks. I'm going to look for it at one of the book stores here.  I can't do a yearly subscription because it's $145.00 Canadian, but I would like to get the occasional issue to read.  I think it would be more interesting than the girly fashion magazines that I subscribed to last year, lol

Linda- You might like ImagineFX (link above) as well - it's published by same people who do 3DWorld.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

 FWIW,

Purchasing at the Bookstore is a "safer" way to go in my experience. I have may mags that include DVD's and such and about 25% of the time they are MIA or broke...

I also find maytimes that resellers are displaying issues  1-2 weeks before mine ever hit the mailbox... Maybe my mailperson is educating themselves in 3D too :)

3D World is worth every penny though, the software and content in 1 issue more than pays for itself x 10!

Imagine FX is, as stated above, Excellent in the way of 2D work , this also comes w/ DVD content that is very cool.

Excellent publishing house and periodicals.

With the cost of gas I have not gotten 3DWorld in a few months and cut down my poser item spending due to this.  I am however going to subscribe to it as a birthday present to my self for next year. We have a discount bookstore here that buys older copies from the stores that have not sold them and they sell them at discount after 6 months, I had only 2 CDs that were bad that I have bought from them.

I checked at "Coles" book store and they don't have it. It's the only book store in my area now. The McNalley Robinson that would probably have it closed a year ago and the closest one to me is not very close!  LOL

Can't you ask them to get it in for you Linda? My local newsagent in Australia gets it for me, abet we are a couple of months behind here I think, but it seems easy for them to get.

You might want to try Chapters rather than Coles.

Most of them here carry it.  Sometimes they don't have issues of it for a while so keep looking.  When I first started looking for it here (north of Toronto) I couldn't find it and the people working in these stores said they didn't carry it.  It turned out that they did.  You just have to be kind of patient and wait for it to reappear.
