Subject: no icons in Poser Pro OS X

For some reason I am not getting any icons in my Library and only getting shruggys.  This is happening with content from Daz using the mac installers.  When I look in the directory, there are no rsr or png files for these items but they show up fine in D|S.  An example would be V3 or M3 and a lot of their stuff.  It all showed up in P7 just fine and like I said, it all still shows up in D|S as well.  Any help would be great.

Are you sure downloaded the Poser MAC installers.  DAZ creates separate installers for each application (DAZ|Studio and Poser).

Sorry I misread, you did say that it works fine under Poser 7.  I have not had any problems with Poser Pro myself, and the png files are installed in my runtime.

Poser Pro doesn't use the rsr files anymore, if you can find the png files that matches the name of the cr2 file then that is all you need.  If you still have the poser 7 install you could just copy over the png files from there.

I originally backed up my runtime and then started to reinstall from scratch.  I looked at my backup and it had the rsr and png files but for some reason the Daz installer is not installing them now or is doing something different.

A lot of daz installers, install no icons. But the minute you browse to that library folder in Poser they appear (are created) This is older installers on a Mac. But be prepared to use graphics converter or like software to remove the alpha channel about 10 percent of the time.
