Oh the comments are very entertaining, In particular the complaints about Canon selling expensive pro cameras and lenses and later bringing out less expensive versions. I could not have started my business without the budget models.

I have noted on here before that you can use budget Canon cameras and get results which are ok to sell as a pro, I have been doing that for 3 years. Now if I did have an unlimited budget possibly i might have spent £5,000 on a Camera. But its really not worth the extra in my view and my pair of 400d s are doing well and i have no plans to replace them until one of them wears out. The first one has just reset to zero on the frame numbers after 18 months of use.
Two friendsof mine spent the extra on top end canons and wish they had not bothered.
