Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 09 3:34 pm)
Mine works, but only partially. About 70% of it is fine, but if I render, I have to wait for over a minute for the render dialog to go away after the render is finished. The same thing if I delete anything, or if I parent anything, or I conform anything or change the texture in the material room. I've heard that I need to update my ATI drivers, but I have several times and I still have the same problem. I know others do to. Somebody bought Poser Pro and he still had the same problems with it.
I've just change my pc for a new-one. Before i was run with XP.
Currently i run with Vista ...
i just install poser 7. and when i open-it....
just the time to install a new figure... and then a new box appears and say...
poser.exe have stop working.
Microsoft gone try to resolve problems.
Is anyone have this problems ??????
Thank's for help...
Hi, for most problems in P7, the culprit is usually the graphics cards drivers. Both the nVidia and ATI drivers have caused problems for P7 because of it's newer OpenGL preview. The first test is to try the older SreeD setting under the 'render settings:preview' tabs. If these problems stop, then your graphics card/drivers are the cause. Try installing the latest drivers following your manufacturers instructions.
PS... you can first try switching from 'hardware' to 'software' for the accumulation buffer which as also located in the 'render settings' preview tab.

Alright, I've been having issues with the program since I bought it.
So I called Smith-Micro (I miss Curious Labs) I talked to a really nice person.
He got a graphics guy on the phone and I was told that I needed to disable
Anisotropic Shading,Texture Filter and load New Drivers.
All of this was done and I'm still having issues.
So do I upgrade to Poser Pro or just hope this new company that owns it can come up with a solution?
