Subject: Saving only ear morphs?

dysigner ( ) posted Thu, 04 September 2008 at 9:13 PM · edited Thu, 09 January 2025 at 3:19 PM

How do I save only ear, nose or tongue morphs (dial-twisted)?

TIA

It is important to zero ALL other head morphs before saving one of these, or the old morphs will be included in the new one.  Is this the problem you're having?

Whould be a great Idea for Poser 8.Creating a group, and applying morphs to only the selected group.

It's already possible to select only the ear-morphs (or other morphs) Go to a map in the expression-library, click "add to library", click "select subset", select "universe" which will deselect everything, go down to the head-morphs and select all the ear-morphs. I know it's a bit of work, but the expression library is not only for saving expressions, but you can also save face-morphs, or partial face morphs.
If you only zero the morphs and you export those as well, it will zero your morphs again, when you import them. Just export the moprhs you have set and no other morphs, zeroed or not.

Thanks very much for the replies!

John, that was the problem I was running into, but didn't want the other head morphs modified. Bopper, that solution was exactly what I was looking for! :woot: Thank you. And Timberwolf, I agree that it'd be really great if Poser was able to do that, it'd be easier, quicker and accurate. Hopefully they'll get around to doing that.
