I'm not sure what the problem is...but you offering your stuff for free is against the terms of service and basically against the law... You're best taking that bit back otherwise you can and will get into a lot of  trouble.

oh dear.... you ain't gonna be here long at all...

originalkitten ( ) posted Sun, 07 September 2008 at 7:13 PM

It is totally against the law to give it away. It is classed as warez then. You're going to get bounced on by a ton of vendors here now. If you read in your license agreement it will say it is against the tos to distribute it.

Taken from a daz license agreement. As you can see it clearly says... a personal non exclusive, non transferable use.

and lmao khai.  Wait till the copyright mods see it.

John Wayne Gacy and Fred West also built patio's and a bbq over top of one of the persons they buried.. I think thats where they got the idea.

But all that aside, nobody is answering this poor guys question.. only jumping on the fact that he was willing to give them a gift, albeit, an illegal one.. but still, nobody has answered his question or even asked him to clarify.

Now, hon, can you please explain step by step what you are doing and what is going wrong.

Do ants have shoulders, and if not, how do they show they dont care without talking?

To the OP: which version of Poser are you using?  What figures and products are you trying to install?

bobbyleejr ( ) posted Sun, 07 September 2008 at 9:53 PM

SAMS3D ( ) posted Mon, 08 September 2008 at 4:06 AM

Have you tried installing them manually, extract files to a file you recreated and see the structure list, then just manually insall each library if there is one.  Sharen

pakled ( ) posted Mon, 08 September 2008 at 7:30 AM

ok, not giving them away is probabaly well enough covered, here's what I do.

I create a temp directory on the hard drive, then point the zip file to unzip there. Usually, you'll get directories such as
Geometries
Textures
Characters
Props
etc.

Each of these has a corresponding fold/directory in Poser itself. I open 2 windows (I'm lazy...;); 1 with the Poser directories, and 1 pointing to the directories created by the zip file.

Copy Geometries to Geometries, Props to Props, Textures to Textures, etc.
Most times, that will work.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
