Hi, everyone.
I´m always getting this problem with v4.2 left eye each time I work with the original V4.2 base. Can´t see but her eye surface. Is there any way to fix this? Has anybody else faced this same problem?
I posted this here cause nobody pay attention to my request at DAZ forum.
Thanks in advance.

Bogart137 I'm sorry but are you saying that you can't see anything but her left eye?

Is this after you've applied the textures and rendered? may need to check in the material room that the textures are connected properly and that the cornea matieral has transparancy set to it.

If you're not sure, a screen shot of what's going on would help us determine what might be going on better.

I know exactly what he is reffering to and asked the same question of Daz Tech support, and never got a response. It's still sitting in my questions folder at Daz waiting for a reply.

When you load V4.2, and use the MAT files for her textures (I have the high rez ones), all textxures load properly, they show up fine in the materials room. But prior to rendering, what you see for her eyes are her right eye is fine, looks normal, but the left eye only appears as white. When rendered, it comes out fine.

I think its more of a Poser problem than a V4 problem, as I can duplicate it everytime in Poser, but not in D|S

It's a Poser 7 "issue". I don't know if it's truly a bug, or just that a bit more is being asked than the system is set to allow, but there's a setting somewhere (I don't have Poser 7 to check) that is labelled "Use simple material preview" or similar - turn that off and the eyes will be fine, though I imagine there may be a performance hit.
