Subject: Problems to save Morph for Aiko3

Hexekati ( ) posted Sun, 21 September 2008 at 5:27 AM · edited Mon, 15 July 2024 at 6:39 AM

Hi there,
I have a Problem to save morphs for Aiko3. I used Injection Magic from DAZ, it doesn't works without problems, but I got a pz2 and i changed the values manually the values to match my values. It doesn't works in Poser. Only EvesSmall and PChstWidth changed during load the pz2.

Whats going wrong? Who could explain, where the mistake is?

desperate greetings

(Excuse if i wrote funny english ;) )

Do you have the Aiko 3 Morphs and Maps add-on?

Aiko 3 Base does not come with all the morphs that are included in this add-on product, and I wonder if this is the problem?

Sorry if I misunderstood your explanation - if so, it's not your 'funny english' but my brain at fault!

I don't know, but I can morph my aiko, it would not work if I don't have the morphs? How could that be? And something that Iask me,I can load each morph for Aiko3 , but not my own ???

If you are having problems with the software to begin with, that alone will cause the injection pose to fail.  I am wondering if it is an incompatibility problem.  Is the Aiko 3 you are using the LE (Limited Edition) or the original base?  Are you saving your morphed Aiko as a CR2?

Hexekati ( ) posted Sun, 21 September 2008 at 7:14 AM

Its the original Base and I have saved the cr2, i have the correct INJ pz2, but it doesn't work, only the two morphes i wrote in my first post.

And I am assuming that you are using Injection Magic version 1.5?  Have you tried loading an un-morphed Aiko and applying the inj pose?

Yes, that was my first try.
I got the pz2 from Injection Magic and changed manuel the values, because of stange values "I-M" gives me. Example value "Realistic" is in my morph 1,000 and I-M gives me 1000,0 so I changed the value to 1,000. I made this with all values.

And it doesn't works.
Tomorror I try it with my V3, I have the morph Add on, perhaps it works, I hope I get a similar morph and it works. I let you know

:(

I reloaded my version of Injection Magic to check your problem.  It is not my favorite program for creating Inj/Rem poses but it will do right now.

Now, you loaded Aiko 3 into Poser and morphed her to your liking.  You generated a CR2 file by saving the morphed figure in the figure section of your library.  Since I-M was able to create an Inj pose pz2 I am assuming that Injection Magic was set up correctly.

When you go into Step 1 tab of Injection Magic, make sure that your input CR2 file is the morphed figure you created (if you see any reference to a Target CR2, that is your source file).  Under Parsing options, uncheck everything except 'Include Morphs' and 'Non-zero Morphs Only'.  Click the Parse File button on the right.  Let the program creat the CR2 Specifications.  Click Next.

Under Step 2 - Options, check everything under General Options on the right and 'Include Morphs' and 'Include Morph dial Settings' under that.  Everything else should be unchecked.  Click next.

Step 3 - Generate.  Click Generate.  If there are no errors a new window will open asking to save the Inj/Rem Pose into the Pose folder you have created for your new morphs.

If everything worked without a problem, go back into Poser, bring in an unmorphed Aiko 3 into the scene and then go to the Pose section to find your new Inj Pose Icon (button).  Make sure Aiko is selected and double click the Inj Pose button.  You should see Aiko morph with all your settings.

It has been awhile since I played with this program, but I can tell you that it has worked for me just before writing this reply.  I can inject and remove my morphs without a problem.

I am also including a link to a tutorial for Injection Magic.  It is a PDF so make sure you have adobe reader installed on your computer.

Let me know your progress.
