Hi; Anybody interested in seeing what you can create in Face shop Pro with a little patience and work?" Here's a few images I made from my created morphs... http://market.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1756206 This one was created this week using Apollo Max to do a portrait of my son. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1737961 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1730099 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1727047 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1613400 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1569996 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1559233

URL links would help. ;)  hint: it's the earth with two-chain links bottom right above the Reply box (popup "Insert/Edit Link").

Not bad at all.  How much patience and work. :)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

Attached Link: Portrait of my son.

Well that depends on each individual. It took me two days on the first one but now it just takes a few hours.

Here's the url for the one I posted last night.
I don't know how to post more than one url in each reply.

highlight the link, copy, then click the "chain globe" located at the right side that says "Insert/Edit Link" when you put your cursor over it and paste the url. Press OK.

repeat process with other links

Hmm the black woman in the last link looks neat. Can the demo be enough to make me some morphs?

I think you can make some morphs with the demo like I did.

You need to show the sides as well. I'm still not convinced to buy it again.

Here's a side view of the morph I made of my son. In this the texture has no facial hair.

You may have to tweak it a bit in Poser.
I like to use the Putty tool a little.

After loading morph target and you do all your final adjustments, then just spawn morph target and delete the first loaded morph.

Then you can dial the amount of change you need and spawn a new morph target or stay with what you have. :)

I'm not saying it is perfect but it's still a good tool to use for those like me who haven't yet learned how to make morphs in my 3d modeling programs.

You continue to show good work can be done with FaceShop Pro even if I can't get the hang of it.

Nicely done. Nice to see someone getting some use out of it.

I agree, these are nice pictures.
Now with the free DAZ Studio plugin it is even easier to experiment with FaceShop Basic:-)

I have faceshoppro and i can tell you that unless you have a very good quality front and side photo its really not worth the money. Taking pictures from the internet of real people for testing has been an utter falure

Respectfully disagree.
I have good success with one photo from a 45 degree (quarter profile).
Also, consider the new FS 4 coming out in November 1, 2008.
It has MorphBrush and TextureBrush, great for retouching and detailing.
I grant you that high-res is desirable - anything over 1000x1000 is good.

Does it work better being a plug in to Daz or standalone with Poser import?  Sharen

So far I've only used it as a stand alone.

I want version 4 sooo bad, but got some gifts to buy this month and next for my grandbabies and 3 extended family babies as well as 3 adults.
Money is in very short supply until after the New Year...sigh.
