THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT: Prayer Request

brycetech ( ) posted Thu, 02 October 2008 at 8:56 PM · edited Wed, 27 November 2024 at 10:17 PM

Hi All
Many years ago, I had the unpleasant duty of conveying some very bad news...of which I'm sure some of you remember even now.

I am once again here to do this again....and I do so because we need all the prayers and support that we can get.

My girlfriend's 21 year old son was recently seriously hurt in a mining accident.  His head was crushed between a blast shield and the head of a highwall miner.  While he is doing much better now, he is very much still in critical condition.

So...I'm asking for prayers from the community that once gave me the support I needed so very long ago.

Please say a prayer for Addam...

thanx
sorry for the OT post

David

On my Prayer list as well...faith and patience.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

I'm not religious but nonetheless I wish you well, Adam, get well soon.

Analog-X64 ( ) posted Fri, 03 October 2008 at 6:28 PM

Sending some Healing Rays from Canada and wishing Adam a quick recovery.  Sometimes unfortunately life gets turned upside down, try to stay positive, and try to get back to your normal routine as much as possible, time will help.

Will do. Got fingers crossed as well for all of you!

Done and done.  Now trust in the Almighty.

Addam got to eat a few bites of jello and pudding today.  He was able to sit up...and even was taken to get a shower.

His recovery thus far is amazing...however, he was told today that he is blind in  his right eye.
I can't imagine what he's thinking...

thanx all
BT

I'll add my positive energy too. It sounds like he's lucky to have survived - that in itself is a  blessing.

My member of parliment where I grew up (went to school with him too) lost one eye in a car accident, I thought it was the worst thing ever. He has proved that it isn't so, so often. In a quiet way John has been a role model for me - may Addam be as gifted in his adversity.
