SlayerX ( ) posted Mon, 29 September 2008 at 10:24 AM · edited Wed, 20 November 2024 at 10:13 AM

Ok guys I'm interested in buying some angelic clothing for either V3/V4 and or Micheal  to, any info as to where to find clothing is appreciated.

I might need props for halos if there's any let me know..

The wings I think I have a few of those if there realistic that'll work I have a few from the freebies but they are shorter.

Also need a pony or horse I may want to add wings on the horse as well to create a flying scene.

Also whats the best model in creating a young girl I have stephanie what else is best?

Thanks for any help possible.

Have you tried looking over at DAZ?  Quite a number of different outfits and props for doing quite what you are interested in.  If you want a younger model than Stephanie, perhaps Laura, pre-teen, may suite you.

SlayerX I recommend the wing sets sold here in the marketplace. Like the wings darkworld makes, or the ultimate wings or angelyina wings by sturkwurk.

As for realism they're about the best looking I've seen, and I've renered lots and lots of angels in my time. If you don't want to pay for them, you can also try the freebie wings sets here, and just retexture them.

There used to be some in the freebies over at RDNA that weren't half bad either. Like the cherub wings. They're for a smaller figure, but I found that if you make them a little larger using the morph dials, they don't turn out half bad.

Then as for clothing, different textures on the wizard robes set from DAZ makes a good start. You can find some really nice textures for them here in the freestuff too. And down in the freebie forum there was a thread about some japanese sites with freestuff, they had an excellent loincloth that works well for male angels, and then there was some free stuff for v3 here, that actually with a bit of tweaking can be used on M3 and D3 as well.

As for hair, Aprils amante hair works the best for me when doing an angel render, or the DAZ wedgecut hair set, but then again thats dependant upon what you are trying to portray in your image.

Anyways, I hope this can help you in saving some cash, as always with everyone, if  I can be of any more assistance don't hesitate to let me know.

Regards,

Daidalos

Search for "angel" at Daz, , 3D Commune and here in the MP.
