I Have an AMD 1200Mhz 512Mb Win2000, plus an AMD 1000 512 MB Win2000, and an Pentium III 300 Win 98 Computer, Poser 4.03, Poser Pro Pack 1 and the SR 2. Also 3DMax 3.1 + 4. Everything in English. No matter how I Install everything, I always end up with seeing a Box in 3D Studio with fliped Faces (inside out), and when i make an instance i get an very long box to it. No matter how i scale it, i dont see a thing. Please tell me that I'm a Idiot and i "instance" the mesh wrong. That would be fine ( and pleeeaaase don't forget to tell me how to do it wright) Can anybody tell me what he sees right after he loaded the pz3 file? I hope that somebody can help me!

Dude, if you did the drag mouse in window & still only a box, do this: In poser remove any path objects. Then resave. Then go to Max & reload the pz3 file. Make sure you have the PPP SR2 release pack 2.

After you load the pz3 file, you'll only have a box, then you can click in the window, or (my preference) use the keyboard entry rollout to actually create the instance. The box will still be seen in some views, but will not render. I've still had some problems with some textures even with the new service release, but generally this package works ok.

The answer was: Copy the poserplugininstallfile (nice word he he) into the 3dmax root and install from there!
