Give a pig a bath, it's still a pig.

You could have also done a pig in a barrel going over the falls for  "Pork Barrel"

A clean pig with a big spot on it "Oink Stain"

A pig with a sombrero at a fiesta "Sow-th of the Border"

Man did you hit the nail square on the head relative to this election cycle here in the US, the wall street bail out, etc and politicians and their talking head clones in the 24 hour news shows.
