Nice You got a nice composition going and i wouldnt demean yourself on the effort / comparison here either. There is a lot of fun to be had with this concept. I handcuffed myself to a page with it (if interested). I've still got a self portrait i want to do with a similar use of a pencil now i am properly teaching myself how to sketch again rather than use filters.

inshaala's Slave to Art reminds me of M. C. Escher, and especially the print, Drawing Hands.

I've been doing similar things with photos since antietk challenged me. I dedicated the photo manipulation that resulted from the challenge to her after she said it would be:
More Fun Than A Barrel Of Monkeys
I then did another selective coloring on The Doorway. But, both of your images are much more dynamic! I'll post a 5 to both of your for these works!!!
UPDATE: Drea71, you should post the photo to your gallery so that we can rate it!!!
Here is another who did something like that.

I'm glad you like my image. I already have several "selective colouring"-images in my gallery like
my friends cat http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1407064&member
and one of my personal all time favorites http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1026965&member
but doing this was somehow different because the two images (b/w and colour) blend into one...
Oh wow, I'm so honored that a thread was started on this ... I love your photo; its awesome! I saw that idea once and I ran with it .. I had to try it myself. It gave me so many other ideas as well. Thank you so much for making mention of my photo .. I'm so glad you like it !!!

that I (as already announced in my comment) just had to give it a try myself.
Yesterday I finally found some suitable leaves and even though the result is by far not as good as the "original" I thought I'd show it to you anyway (please click on image for large version).
