Okay. First off I want to thank JKeller for the helpful info. That definitely got me a little further from where I'm at. I'm still a little stuck with the eyebrows though. I'll attempt to attach a picture of what my problem is here and maybe someone out there can tell me what I need to do to get them looking a bit better. Sorry about the crappy picture but I'm a newbie! :)

It looks to me like you haven't assigned a transmap to the material. In the Material Editor, select the UpperEyebrows, assign a transmap, and then set the transparency min and transparency max both to 100%. Hope this helps.

just to add alittle to what jkeller said...only add the transmap to the UPPER EYEBROW...the one labeled EYEBROW uses the head texture. I personally like to remove the eyeborws from the head texture so as not to interfere with the upperbrow trans map. You'll get it.

Transparency only to the upper eyebrow. If you put transparency to the base eyebrow, you'll end up with black holes in the the head. Melanie
