Subject: Straight Jacket Question

I’m starting to model a straight jacket (conforming) using Cheetah 3D and Wardrobe Wizard 2. For use on Michael 3 in poser 7.
I would like any tips and suggestions. (What to do about straps buckles etc.) Thanks.

just extend the sleeves a whole lot farther, then parent the sleeves to the back...;)

Found this. Looks like a straight jacket I tightened on stage for an escape artist once.

If I could have a straight jacket it would indeed have double length sleeves that strapped around the back rather than separate hand shapes as on the okarsson which is actually excelent though I wish it had a lower neck line. Also more of an open neck.

My progress so far. I have no idea how to get control over the sleeve straps or the sleeves over the hands.

Dou you need to animate? Personally I would just make static props with the arms in different positions and then make the figures arms not visible... for conforming you will need to add bones. PhilC has tutorials at his site and on youtube I think.

That's a good idea. I will try that as well. I will look at some more of Phil's tuts.
Thanks
