Hi...thanks to help here have got V4.1 working. Much appreciated...but having a couple of issues...

Firstly, my V4.1 appears to have purple bands around her waist and chest, to cover her modesty I guess, but even the chunkiest strapped top is gonna show this underneath, making it look like a really cheap bra that ran...I don't want my model to look like she buys cheap bras!!!

I guess its something to do with the skin map, coz they show here too (bang went my 1st theory of "parental controls" being set... )  :0(

So I guess I need to alter the map, but how and from where?

2nd question is probably equally dumb...having purchaced several character morphs for V4.1 (morphs is right, right? For those "Vanessa for V4" upgrade thingies?) But how do you apply them to the figure...I thought it would be like adding clothing, but I guess not...any help?  :0)

Unless you are very, very good at altering texture files, I would suggest investing on character content which would include skin texturing or the DAZ Skin texture standard or hi-res packs.  They will give Vicky her more natural appearance. 

Now for character morph sets, most require that you own the Vicky 4 Morph++ content before you can apply your purchased content.  Check the readme's to be absolutely sure.  In all cases, morphs are applied from the Pose section of your library.  They are referred as Injection Poses and they are designed to change and texture characters without cluttering your drive with large mb files.

There is a texture for V4.2 that doesn't have the purple bikini on it - it's in the poses folder under (DAZ people I think - not at a PC with Poser on it to check)  Double click on it with V4.2 selected in the main window and you should be good to go

i don't remember my v4 shipping with that kind of texture...i got the full version though which came with a bunch of neat makeup textures.  i also bought several other texture packages, but still find myself using the ones that shipped with it.

There are tons of freebie skin textures for V4; just search the freestuff section here, or at ShareCG.com. You won't have to put up with V's purple undies anymore... (:
