THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Just a comment about my comments.

Just want to make it clear that there is nothing personal in any of my, maybe a little controversial, replies. I say what I think, and I get very animated when it comes to something I believe in.... even a little over zealous at times. My only aim is to contribute, and not to antagonise.
The trouble with forums though, is that one can sometimes take things the wrong way in situations like this. I hope this is taken into account the next time I get....a little over zealous.       oops! wrong smiley, maybe this one 👍 ....no thats too much.

Ah yes, this one. 😉

Hi dhama.
If I was you would not worry about those details. to Participate in a community is to express, and you were always coherent.

Yeah man, we are all of a similar cut here...offence is rarely taken...blather on...LOL.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Yeah, I often feel like kickin' your ass but don't bother cause I know how forums are bad communicators.  It's not always easy to understand a persons real attitude or meaning - even with smileys.  Not only that, I think Renderosity's double-thumbs-up smiley looks really cheesey.

You know ... this one ... :thumbupboth:

pumeco ( ) posted Mon, 03 November 2008 at 5:42 PM

That said, there used to be some really good (and funny) smileys on here at one time.  I remember Rayraz and I had a great laugh with them.  I literally burst out laughing at some of the stuff he posted.

Sure of yourself I must say  .... this smiley works well here: :tt2: ..was going to use this one:  but since you mention doing something to my ass... maybe this:  ..and then this:

I think this is often the best smiley :tt2:
(Well, it's my fave, anyway)

Language, culture, & the slightly odd nature of artists are all considerations I take into account while plugged into this reality. I've also long studied the loss of intonation and expression which occurs in online written communication, Forum, E-mail, etc. (since the days of bulletin boards...whew dated myself there. LOL) The knowledge of all of these factors along with basic psycology and management help me get through most conversations and situations without getting or giving too many bruises. Not to mention I've been a contractor for years and have dealt with many scenarios with Homer Simpson types, so believe me when I tell you guys, "You're the Dream Team".

One rule of thumb for me is to "not always react in a knee-jerk fashion" but to take a step back and respond after giving the matter at hand some thought.

Swing Away dhama, & remember, You're always welcome to IM or e-mail me with any issues you have here. Thanks for this expression.

Thanks ICM, orbital, you are too kind.

CEO eh? Well I wrote to Dan Farr of Daz3D last week, and i'm hoping he'll respond to keeping us up to date with Bryce. Going to give him another week before I start shouting again. 😉

Well, it wasn't me.
I wasn't even in this thread when it happened, I was in the Renderotica galleries studying art.

Must have been Bobby, dhama, Thandaluz, or Rod :b_grin:

Hey Rod!  Who you calling slightly odd?

I'll have you know I'm a complete wack-job!

You guys do realise that the comfy chair was originally a piece of the Brysters lawn furniture. And don't ask what was done with the umbrella.

I think I have put those bits in some of my works over there. :woot:

Yeah, but they're very tasteful though :woot:

dhama ( ) posted Thu, 06 November 2008 at 10:14 AM

I could never see any use for such items apart for pornographic images. In my opinion such imagery has no place in art.

pumeco ( ) posted Thu, 06 November 2008 at 11:44 AM

I can't agree with that dhama, can you think of anything more graceful than a woman?

Such imagery doesn't have to be pornographic.  Incarnadine himself has images even on here that show nudity in a stylish, zen, kind of way.  It wouldn't even enter my head that they, for example, were pornographic.

Anyway, that's not important here - bit OT to say the least - lol

dhama ( ) posted Thu, 06 November 2008 at 12:14 PM

Nudity is fine, but open leg poses that reveal 'parts' that one might buy from renderotica has to be classed as pornographic. Believe me, i'm no prude, but it is possible to cross the line of art to pornography.

Incarnadine ( ) posted Thu, 06 November 2008 at 8:24 PM

I quite understand dhama. I try to keep my erotic works just that, erotic, without being "in your face" crude. I suppose, it is a point of pride, both in the quality of my work and my ability to tell a story, albeit an erotic one, with the image.

thank's for the compliment pumeco.
