Now I think I found my first problem with Vue7. I want create a quick animation but my Vue7 did not recognized any of my AVI codec’s. No DivX or Xvid no Indeo. I have more than a halve dozen codec’s installed on my system but nothing show. :crying:

I use AVI uncompressed and then do my conversion/dubbing in another program.

Yous should report this as a bug, but in general, I agree with Shonner.  Render it out uncompressed and compress it in another program

Thank you but when I save as uncompressed AVI Vue7 crash
But if I save as image sequence it work. So I saved my project as image sequence and compressed to AVI with VirtualDub tool. 😄

That was going to be my next suggestion if saving one huge film crashed your Vue.  So you did good.

Yes Shonner you are 100% right, but for this small test animation I want it quick. But that was an shot in the foot. :bored: For normal projects I always use image sequence and tools like VirtualDub and TMPGEnc. So I am always on save side.

I have never found Vue 5 or 6 to offer quick test animations.  Something with the apps always eat away my resources.
