In the lower right corner of her poser scene window there are some coloured dots. One of them will change the background colour.  I usually have mine set to a grey tone, but for this example I changed it to blue.

Oh sure... do it the easy way. LOL! I've never clicked on that before and I've been going through the menu like a dork. :tt2: Thanks for another useful tip!

Here's my useful tip. SHIFT CLICK on the Poser Desktop and you can pull up the color picker and change your Poser Desktop colors like so:

I do not know anything about Poser 7.  The information that I need is how do I put the figure into the workspace?  I have tried it numerous times but cannot put into workspace.  I click on the figure once and then if that does not work, I click it twice and nothing shows up.  What am I doing wrong.  Please, help me.  I would appreciate it very much...............Thank you, so, very much...........Love and Hugs...........Camille

You will find the character in the character library.

Left click on one of the pictures in the library, then click on the double checkmark at the bottom.

The figure should show up in the scene window.

Here is a link to a whole bunch of information geared towards new users.  You will find some links to tutorials at the bottom.  They cover adding a figure, adding a texture, posing and even how to render the image.  Very helpful if you are new to Poser.  The tutorials are done in either Poser 5 or 6, but you do the same thing inside Poser 7 because the interface hasn't changed.
