Subject: Kozaburo hair - fit morphs for Jessi?

MaterialForge ( ) posted Sun, 09 November 2008 at 10:14 AM · edited Sat, 25 January 2025 at 12:01 PM

Does anyone know if there are fit morphs for Jessi for Kozaburo's hair models? In particular the short hair and Evolution short hair.

Thanks!

As far as I know you can use the X, Y, Z scale dials to make it fit.

At least thats how I do it and I fit Kozaburo's or any other hair to all my models that way.

I am not a complete idiot, some parts are missing :)

Hey thanks, I did use that and it worked ok for the short hair SR-1. I need to figure out how to make a morph out of it.

If this is helpful to anyone else using the Short Hair SR-1 with P6 Jessi, the parameter dial settings I used on the hair model are:

yTran: -0.190
zTran: 0.086

I see you use the tran dials.

But did you try the Scale dials as well?

With that you can virtualy fit them to any model.

Edit.

When you have the hair with a good fit you can save it as a smart prop.

I did try the scale dials, and even at 101% it was too big in the top/front of the hair. So I put it back to 100 and it looks good at all but a few angles.

If you realy want to go hardcore

You can fit them better with the use of magnets.

The magnets you can save as morphs.

Another edit.

Instead of dialing, you can type in the amount you want to scale.
This way you can make very small and acurate tweaks.

LOL, not ready for magnets yet...

DOH - I always type it in instead of dialing, but for some reason didn't think to go between 100 and 101 this time out...

No problemo, for small tweaks I alway's go behind the period.

Hmmm, that actualy sounds odd.

Magnets are not that hard to work with, you can get nice results even if you use them for the first time.
I used them for the first time on Jessy and came out with some decent face morphs.

Check the page of our good DrGeep, he has great tutorials on magnets.

Yeah, Geep's tuts are the best. I've never messed with magnets, always thought it was more of an advanced thing...but will have to check them out.

Kozaburo Short Hair is included with Poser 7 (and probably P6) with fits for Jessi.

I have found if you have wardrobe wizard you can convert them to make them fit to any figure.  I also think that Netherworks has some converters for Jessi
