well first of all in i change p4 hip with genital hip. than i export the new model as wf obj. file. than open uv mapper. and i made the mapping placements. export the file as an obj. file. i open the poser character in a tex editor and change the obj. file line. open poser again and click on my character but it did not appear. but when i look at the body parts or hieararchy editor i see the body part names. but character is not. so is anyone knows what is the problem. so this means that if i change any part of the body , i cant put the all maps in one file ? help me i hope i explain the problem in a right way :))

I think I have seen this happen when trying to do morphs with the wrong import/export settings. By chance, when you move the front camera back from the centre, do you see the figure displaced vertically? In other words, the operation you performed in UVMapper may have displaced the co-ordinates of the body in the y-axis, or may have changed the scale of the body.

What happened is at some point in the process you lost the group names in your object file. When poser loads a character without an error, but part or all of the character is not visible, that means Poser can find the obj, but not the groups its looking for. When you export out of Poser as wavefront obj, make sure you have the top check box 'Use existing body part names in polygon groups' (I think thats how its worded) and nothing else checked. For this character you are trying to make, you will also need to edit the CR2 and remove the genital actor as well as the genSwitch coding. BTW, I don't want to discourage you from doing this yourself, but there is already a No Gen P4 male available at the PropsGuild if that helps at all.

You don't want to replace the original Poser obj with one that you've exported. The original model contains smoothing groups that Poser doesn't export. If you start with the original geometry file it should work. There's a little more information in this tutorial I wrote: http://www.uvmapper.com/uvmappos.htm BTW, UVMapper doesn't change a models geometry. HTH, Steve
