Hoooeee..now that is a geeky page for sure. Some interesting looking problems tho, and had I a mathematical bent I'd still be there...LOL.. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Wow, this looks like it could be fun. I loved algebra,  and trig and calc weren't bad either. Not sure if I'm up to being able to solve these, but if I have the time I just might give it a try.

I'm still trying to figure out why hotdogs come in packages of 10, but the buns in packages of 8...;)

So you'll have to buy 4 packs of hotdogs and 5 packs of buns to even out.

10(hotdogs) = 8(buns)
Factor out the 2, then 5(hotdogs) = 4(buns)
Thus for the first non-zero whole number, 5(4) = 4(5)

There's probably some other algebra that I forgot that would be better for coming to the conclusion.

Hey Pakled:
how many hotdogs does it take to screw in a lightbulb ?(hint: it's a prime number.)

... well the ones I looked at seemed simple enough to solve but would require someone with a lot of time on his or her hands to do it.
