I think of the Vue 7I upgrade as a $400 plant/terrain/wave plugin with a faster internal renderer.

I am disapointed also about the dynamic cloth and I guess the way I'd characterize my outburst was also a tantrum. Unlike Mr. Bravo however, no cloth IS a deal killer for me. I can't use Carrara for what I do.

I'm sorry to hear that Opera. I have really valued your input in the C forums. I wish DAZ would hire you as a consultant because of your "Vision" for Carrara...something they are desperate need of.

@Opera

I remember you saying that one of your primary concerns is having a constant flow of character assets, facial expression and speech emulation. Can you bring characters (like M4 and V4), including rigging and textures, like M4 and V4  into Lightwave? Or do you have to do the rigging inside of Lightwave? I have Mimic Pro for Lightwave which was included in the Economic Stimulus Bundle. Does it work with the latest version of Lightwave?

I ask because I'm considering adding Lightwave to my tool set.

PoserPro too can export to Lightwave now.

Thanks for the info GK. This looks like a better option than Poser Pro to Lightwave.

There are more solutions for content transfer as well, but I don't want to rehijack this hijacked topic, so I started another one in the Poser forum..
