I am about to release my Glenfinnan Viaduct for Poser.  It includes the viaduct, relatively low-res track on each side of it, and the terrain.  The terrain is only about 2.5 km square and the viaduct is in the dead center.  Poser will not render all the way to the edges of the terrain.  My question to you:   Would you rather have just the viaduct with a little terrain around and under it, for ease of use, the rest of the backdrop to be made of the panoramic envirionment sphere,

or

would you want all the terrain even though it cannot all be rendered in one go by Poser?

Here's how it looks in Terragen:

Lovely!

I'd want the whole terrain mesh, because a wide view can always be done by
scaling down the terrain until it fits.  The other approach sometimes leaves
visible lines at the base of the backdrop.

Hi ockham.  Thanks, I'll include the whole terrain then. If anyone prefers a smaller terrain, now is the time to speak up: so far 100% of respondents in this thread favor the whole terrain, lol.

Also -- any Terragen2 users here who would want a .tgd version?

Attached is a P7 render.

Personally I would love to use that Viaduct in Vue so I wouldn't need any terrain!!
Nice model!

Injustice will be avenged.

thfixer:  thanks!  What format terrain does vue use?  will it take Terrgen's .ter format?  If so I'll include a lower res .ter file.

Vue will import .OBJ, or Poser scenes (PZ3).  If you have a Poser prop file (PP2), you can make an OBJ out of it by dragging and dropping it onto UVMapper.

I would prefer the whole terrain too - again, no problem seeing the whole thing in Vue!

I have an aquaduct in my Atlantis pack too.

The whole terrain looks awesome :) There are a lot of smaller terrain props around, but a large one would be unique :) and usefull.
