Subject: How do I use Wardrobe Wizard?

mercblue22 ( ) posted Mon, 10 November 2008 at 2:21 AM · edited Wed, 12 February 2025 at 11:51 AM

Hello all,
Well, I finally have Wardrobe Wizard to help conform clothing to my muscular characters. -Victoria- But, when I opened it, its asking for Pz2 files. I am a real novice here, I do not know anything about those files, let alone how to locate them in my poser folder. Are the clothes I want to conform pz2 files? Do I have to locate them individually? I hope not, that could be real time consuming trying to locate the clothes manually in hundreds of poser files I have.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

its really not that bad they are close to each other. Once you find one the others are right next to each other. Are you doing this in Poser? which version  6 , 7 or Poser pro? or are you using DS? One more thing Did it not come with a tutorial?

PZ2 files are poses, which you would find in Poser xRuntimelibrariesPose... Where x is your version of Poser.

However the only thing poses usually have to do with clothing is in applying textures to them. Clothing is found either in CR2 or PP2 files (Poser xRuntimelibrariescharacter... or Poser xRuntimelibrariesprops...) I have no idea why WW would be looking for poses.

Wardrobe Wizard comes with several excellent video tutorials, and I'd strongly advise watching those before diving in.

Excellent Advice Englishbob

Which figure is asking for PZ2 files, Victoria or the clothing?  I'm trying to think of a situation where Wardrobe Wizard would include the requirement to load a PZ2 file when the converted clothing is loaded.

Can you please give more details.

Thanks.

Hey again all,
First off, thanks to everyone for your posts so far, I really appreciate the help. :) Now, I took a screenshot of the Wardrobe Wizard for you all to see and what its asking for.  The items I would like to edit/stretch/use with this are the clothes. -I am using V3 body morphs to make my Victoria 3 models muscular. All I need to do is find a way to make them fit their bodies if possible. I hope this screenshot helps.

Thanks,

Fonzie

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'm making your image clickable

If you only want to include one link in your post, you can use the "Link Name & URL" area located below the reply window. You can also use the "Attach a File" area to browse to a file on your hard drive and upload it with your post.  There is a size limit though. Not sure what the limit is. I usually stick to less than 100,000 and it uploads ok.

If you want to include more than one link in your post, use the little blue "world" icon at the top of the reply window.

If you want to include more than one picture in your post, you can do that too. You do however have to upload each one to a web hosting site, and then you can use the link to the picture in the little yellow "envelope" icon at the top of the reply window.

According to your screenshot, you have the demo version of Wardrobe Wizard - so you won't be able to deal with V3 clothing anyway - and the file open dialogue isn't asking for PZ2 files either.

For reference, you'd normally open the clothing's library file with that dialogue. As I said earlier, Clothing is found either in CR2 or PP2 files (Poser xRuntimelibrariescharacter... or Poser xRuntimelibrariesprops...).

Here's the link again, only really clickable this time. ;-)

Ahhh,
That's why I can't do much with this, DOH! I am new to poser still, let alone its files names, I guess I meant cr2 and pp2, really sorry all. Oh well, I guess I'll have to find another method then how to conform clothing to muscled V3 figures. :P

Thanks all!

No you don't have to find another method :)  Wardrobe Wizard will do it just fine.

That video there will show you how to fit clothing to your morphed up figure.

Hello again, Thank  you for that tutorial, I checked it out and it seems a little hard to grasp. (I'll just have to mess with it to figure it out, hehe- I also managed to get the full version of WW2.0 too, but the only thing is, its only reading 4 basic figures and not V3 or any of the others on the tutorial clip. Am I doing something wrong? Here is a screenshot of the 4 on WW2.0 at the moment.

OOPS!
Now, I know why the other figures weren't showing up in the WW2 boxes, I didnt put them in the WW folder, DOH!!! I did so, and they are now there, a good way to start WW I would say. :D

You'll need to send in your registration for it to run as a full version. I've given my records a quick look over and do not believe that you have done that yet. I could be wrong because user names are difficult to track, but the dates of your postings and the dates when I've sent out registrations  give that indication.

Where did you manage to get the full version of Wardrobe Wizard 2 from?

If I know the store I can accurately check the sales records and hence quickly ensure that your registration file is sent to you.

Well that was a conversation stopper!

I wonder why?

Hello there,
Sorry I didn't get back to you right away, been busy. My friend took a look at it and fixed the problem. He gave me a CD with a lot of poser stuff he used to have stored away before he gave it up. I  told ya I'm a real novice at this. :P

Sorry about that PC

So did you purchase Wardrobe Wizard or manage to get it from a friend?

Does your friend pass on many copies of this CD?
