Hi. I'm traveling to Montreal in a few weeks, and I'm wandering if there are any stores there that might stock Vue 4. Thanks in advance.-Fernando.

Can't answer that, but I was just in Montreal for the Gran Prix.. Very nice city. I think I may try and get work there. =) Currently living in Winnipeg, Chris PS: This is so OT, sorry

The best thing you could do, Fernando, would be to email E-on and ask them. I know there's at least one store which sells Vue, but I can't remember which (it's franchise name was unfamiliar to me) and I don't know if there even are any copies of Vue 4 going up for retail anywhere yet. But, their US marketing man comes here to check messages every now and then, so hopefully he'll see this and have an answer for you. And welcome to the Vue forum! :) -Mike

I am from Montreal myself and I don't know stores that carries it but some CG places can order it through their distributors. Montreal is awesome from June to August and the rest of the time you want to move to LA or Florida! ;+) Cheers!

Yeah, I'm in Florida, and already the heat's killing me! Glad to know it's better at least somewhere!

Shadex0r ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 3:38 PM

Actually it's been hot and crazy humid here lately. Winnipeg, where it goes from -40 to 30+ (Celcius) Chris

Flywaver ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 3:38 PM

Oh we only go from -40C to +37C about every year...just don't mix up your clothes or you will die either way. ;+) Cheers!

Flywaver ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 3:49 PM

LOL...we were posting at the same time; the differences in the summer temperatures are due to the distances from Winnipeg to Montreal. Cheers!

Shadex0r ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 4:31 PM

I'm just going to move further west so that the mountains shield me from those harsh -40 temperatures.. k, wait a minute before posting your reply this time.. lol Chris

Flywaver ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 6:18 PM

hehe...I hope I lived my last winter this year. The only good thing about cold winters is that the chances of a PC overheating are none! ;+) Cheers!

MikeJ ( ) posted Fri, 29 June 2001 at 6:32 PM

I would almost KILL for a cold winter! I haven't seen real ice since the last time I went to Pennsylvania, except in my freezer. ;/

Shadex0r ( ) posted Sat, 30 June 2001 at 1:09 AM

Kill? I'd do the same for no winter. Want to trade places?? =) Chris

Heh-heh. Chris, ask me that same question again in August. ;) Just got the pool halfway decent, and believe me, that was no easy task, especially after taking out a couple of trees which were slowly destroying the fence... still have work to do, but I can't just walk away from it, ya know. ;)

Flywaver ( ) posted Sat, 30 June 2001 at 11:01 AM

Hey that's a really nice image! You should change the water's color a bit though to make it more realistic! ;+) Are those trees from Vue 4? hehe Cheers!

MikeJ ( ) posted Sat, 30 June 2001 at 11:11 AM

Hey, I just DID change the water color! it was more green before all the chlorine, LOL!

Flywaver ( ) posted Sat, 30 June 2001 at 11:23 AM

Hmmm...where is the Chlorine setting in Vue?? ;+) Cheers!

MikeJ ( ) posted Sat, 30 June 2001 at 11:31 AM

Now wouldn't THAT be convenient?! LOL! I think it's in the transparency tab, under, "fade out" color. :)
