This was my first upload here on March 22, 2007.

Here is mine, my 63rd upload.  It's massive I did not know how at the time to resize photos.  I was still doing Terragen and just posted a few photos to start with.  You may have noticed I was a member for a long time be for I uploaded anything. Now I can't stop!

For about six plus years I posted Poser images and an occasional photograph. I wiped the slate clean and the Blue Heron on August 13th, 2007 was the start of posting photographs which has been my main interest for the past 60 years. Digital is so much better than breathing hypo and acetic acid short stop.

**One of the fun parts about looking back is remembering all the folks that used to be here... or maybe that's a sad part?  A lot has happened here @ RR over the years...   here's the first one in my gallery,  I deleted some of the earlier ones.

This was my very first posted photo here, dated 2006/02/22; an image from Cappadocia in Turkey. It was a scanned color slide. I see it got 107 views and 19 comments then... substantially more than my present average. ;o)

what is even more interesting about Joe's thread..is that a lot of the folks in that thread were staff members at one time or another..

I didn't think Punk Clown was a Photo Mod, but he was a Mod..

Misha was a coord ( or am I wrong? )
Alpha was a photo Mod..

Chelle was one of my mentors and a great Mod..

Bev was a mod

Now this has me thinking about the folks who I learned the most from about how to be a Moderator...

I remember trying to decide what should be my first upload... I went  through vacation photos from a bit earlier... This was taken with my husband's camera I was learning to use, our first digital;  Before I ever heard of composition or anything ;)   

I was very uncertain about putting photos here because I didn't know one thing about photography.... But I was welcomed and quickly became addicted to making photos!  And now here I am getting ready to start using my very first DSLR.... yikes ... LOL~

Here is mine, from May 6, 2003.  I had a Minolta F100 point and shoot and was in high cotton since it had manual options and a good macro.   I still have that camera.  Crop was about all the work on this one.

At the time I had the conception that posts should be postworked or have some 2D work at least..I really did not think of Renderosity it as a photo web site when I first joined.

I, too, started out doing exclusively 3-D work.  My first posts here were in the Blender gallery.  I quickly discovered the 2-D gallery, then the writer's gallery, and finally photography.  I'd posted some photographs in 2-D in order to show something I'd created in "real life," but this is the first image I posted in the photography gallery.  This is my first image that was a photograph for photography's sake.  Aside from darkening a busy background, there was NO postwork here.  I could barely open Photoshop by myself at the time!  This is a great idea for a forum thread, Bruce.  Thanks!

Marietta's Decline - March 20th 2005..... feels like a lifetime ago. Yes, it's really good to go back and see how much one has improved since their first post! And it's all credited to the wonderful friends here at RR!!!

Uploaded 14th January 2007, although I'd been a member of Renderosity since May 06, this was the first photo I ever uploaded.

The shot was taken with my Kodak Z740 PAS camera which I still use from time to time.
