while I'm fascinated by oddities such as these, some cat lovers may find that image disturbing.  that poor kitten will probably not live more than a few days. it's actually quite sad.

IMHO, it would be better to have a link to the article with a mild warning.

Apparently, the kitten is fit and well, in a good home and will be well looked after.

that's not the point.  the point is that in my opinion, a link titled "for all cat lovers" should not link to an image of a deformed kitten.

try this on for size: "for all baby lovers"

I don't feel it's appropriate to say it's "for all cat lovers."  if the subject said "kitten with two faces," I would not have a problem with it at all, as someone who clicks that link knows what they are in for.  just as my link above would be better off saying, "miracle baby gets life-saving surgery" instead.

thanks for the change.  not quite what I had in mind, but it's certainly less likely to unpleasantly surprise the unwary and sensitive cat lover.

[I was thinking more along the lines of "interesting/strange kitten" and removing the image from the thread with just the link, as the link text is very clear about why the kitten is interesting, or might be considered disturbing by some...]
