Hi and hello,
another problem - for example, when I want to download another figure/morph for victoria (http://www.most-digital-creations.com/freestuff.htm) it is a zip.-file.
Where should I unpack it to? To which destination? I tried directly to poser, to figures a.s.o. but I cand find or open it.
Thanks for your answers.

If the zip file is properly created, there should be a runtime folder within. Just unzip it to your Poser 7 folder directly, everything else should go where it is suppose to go. DO NOT unzip into the runtime folder!
Take the time to open your zip file and familiarize yourself with the content hierarchy which should be the same in your Poser runtime folder. This will give you some idea how files are placed within folders making it easy to locate them when you are actually in the Poser app. Many individuals like to unzip their files separately from the Poser folder, edit the content of the fresh runtime folder, then manually transfer each folder to the proper place.
Never just unzip or install anything directly to your runtime. Always unzip or install to a separate folder. I use one on my desk top. Then browse through the folder to have a look at the structure of where things are going and make sure that it's in "proper runtime structure" so that when you move it to the runtime, they get into the proper folders. Plus it gives you a chance to see what is being installed, and where.

I remember when I first started with poser, I downloaded tons and tons of free stuff, more than I could ever use, then when I did need something out of all that, I couldn't find it, I realized I hadn't organize my downloads, and I couldn't tell what things were or how they looked like just by the names, which sometimes weren't descriptive at all.
So my advice is start organizing right away, put all V4 stuff in one folder, inside that folder, create other categories like clothing, textures, props, etc.
And most importanly (for me anyway), save the preview picture of the items you download along with the zip file with the same name like:
someFreebie.zip
someFreebie.jpg
So that you can easily browse your stuff just by looking at the pics.
If I can take the previous poster's advice and push it one step further...
I've also started using a software called Portfolio, which gathers up images and puts them in an array for easier viewing. If I'm looking for something in particular, I can open Portfolio (which will show me all of the images stored) and then go to anyone of a dozen catalogs, like "vehicles" and "interiors". This has saved me hours of frustration of looking for things in the now 253 CDs I have of Poser-related materials.

Hello!
I have Poser 7, but I'd like to use also other figures, but - most of them that I find require to have the " Victoria-Model".
I only have Kate, Jessi and Sydney ;-)
Is there any possibility in the internet to download these standard Figures like Victoria? (for free?)
Greetz,
