Welcome to the forum. Nice picture. What is the light shining through to give her the snake skin look? I like the effect. Bsteph

This picture was done with two negatives under the enlarger light. The "snake skin" efect is actually my friends plastic pillow (with several hundred staticly clinging beads inside it) in front of a light bulb in pretty much pitch dark. My scanner, which no longer works because its a piece of s#!t, is nothing special. I probably scanned this at 300dpi, but jpg quaity is nothing special. As for lack of grain, I dunno. The actual image is an 8x10 print, but the prize is actually a nice 16x20 print. Absolutely my favorite print of mine. The actual print is on AGFA Semi-matte (gotta love the blacks in it), from 35mm Ilford BxW 400 film. Id put some more prints up, but my scanner's been busted for about a week now, and the ones I have are either monstrous TIF files, or bad scans of good prints (in my mind at least). au revoir, a prochaine, ry

One reason why there might be no grain is because it is 2 negatives on top of eachother under the light. The grain from one may very well filled in the gaps of the grain from the other,, ever so gently. Just a thought, I might be wrong. ry
